Sneak past the robot guards and retrieve the GOLDEN BRIEFCASE! A stealth action shooter inspired by Metal Gear Solid and Splinter Cell. I wanted to make a game where you can shoot robots, and I love sneakin around, so you can choose the sneaky path or the violent path!

It was a fun challenge to get the robots to "see" the player. Each robot can actually SEE the color green, and if it sees you you get a laser to the face! I played around a lot with sampling pixel colors in this one. For instance, the player's bullets won't shoot through dark blue.
I also had quite a time trying to get the lights to turn off and on. If the player is LIT then the robots can see him from farther away. If he's dark, they need to be almost next to him to notice. The light switches just look for tiles with a certain flag nearby and swaps them with the sprite to the left on the index. I think that's a neat way to do it. Then I can put lit tiles wherever I want, and just place a switch near by and it works!
